History

The Grove Theatre is a 780 seat regional theatre which first opened its doors to the public on 21st April 2007.

The first show to take place at the Grove Theatre was an opening gala that was hosted by stage and screen giant Brian Blessed on April 21, which was followed by a week-long run of the West End hit Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Following the venue’s opening in April, The Grove Theatre was officially opened in July 2007 by the Duke of Gloucester and hosts hundreds of wonderful events each year.
