‘Rarely have amateur dramatics been this good’
Leighton Buzzard Observer
Since opening in 2007, the Grove Theatre has staged a summer musical project each year that aims to give young people an opportunity to gain experience in, and an understanding of, the process behind a musical production. The project also helps participants strengthen communication and problem solving skills as well as building confidence and making new friends – all whilst having fun!
In 2015, the Summer Project changed its name, returning every year with productions that keep getting bigger and better: Grove Production Project. This name reflects a change within the structure of the production; the project has grown to provide opportunities for not only young actors, musicians, singers and dancers but also for those wishing to have a go at set building, lighting, sound, props and wardrobe.
Grove Production Project is an exciting annual experience offering up to 100 young people the opportunity to work with a professional artistic, creative and technical team to stage a musical production on a west end sized stage at the Grove Theatre.
