Online

Visit the What’s On listing, and select the ‘Book Now’ button on the performance you are interested in.

Covid-19 Refund & Re-schedule policy:

Standard terms and conditions apply to all new purchases and rescheduled performances. In the case that a performance is cancelled or postponed by us you will be able to receive either an exchange, credit or refund. Where a show has been or is rescheduled we will deem you to have accepted tickets for the rescheduled date if we have not heard from you to the contrary 8 weeks prior to the performance going ahead. After this point our standard terms and conditions, agreed to at the point of sale, will apply.

All ticket prices include a transaction fee. Exceptions to this include: group bookings of 10 or more and Film bookings made in person. All major credit and debit cards are accepted excluding American Express.

All tickets purchased will be kept behind the Box Office to be collected on the evening of the performance, or you can collect your tickets from our Box Office a few days prior. Please note, in order to collect your tickets you will need to provide our Box Office with either your confirmation email or your order number.

Make a Donation

Here at the Grove Theatre we are dedicated to the engagement and participation of all people in the arts within our community and further afield. We rely on the generosity of our patrons to be able to engage with communities in order to make the theatre accessible for all. All donations help towards the upkeep of the building, the production of in-house events (such as our Education programme), improving technical equipment and much more!

The option to leave Grove Theatre a donation will appear in the checkout section prior to purchasing your tickets.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers can be purchased from Grove Theatre Box Office; the minimum value that can placed onto a voucher is £5 and the maximum value that can be placed onto a voucher is £200. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash; any remaining balance on the voucher will be credited onto your account at the Grove Theatre.

Gift vouchers can be redeemed in full or in part to purchase tickets for participating events, screenings and films; vouchers cannot be used for purchasing merchandise or items from the Kiosk/Bar.

Grove Theatre gift vouchers can only be redeemed at Grove Theatre and cannot currently be purchased online; they expire 24 months after the date of purchase. Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed or refunded. Gift vouchers purchased after 4 April 2016 can be redeemed online.

National Theatre Tokens cannot be purchased from Grove Theatre, but can be redeemed at this venue in person.

Gift vouchers will be posted within 5 working days after payment.

Group Bookings

Ten or more tickets are eligible for group bookings. If you would like to book for a group of ten or more (for many productions discounts are available) contact our Box Office on 01582 60 20 80, Monday to Friday 12pm to 3pm on non performance days, or between 12pm to 3pm & 5pm - 7.45pm on performance days.

Reservations

Tickets can be reserved and will be held for a maximum of four days; if payment is not received tickets will be released for re-sale. If you reserve tickets within four days of the performance please be aware that tickets will be released for re-sale twenty-four hours before the performance starts. Extended reservation periods are available for groups of ten or more, contact the Box Office for details.


Conditions of Sale

Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged once purchased. Tickets for sell-out shows may be accepted by the Box Office for re-sale on behalf of the customer but re-sale cannot be guaranteed. An administration charge of 10% of the total transaction will be taken for this service. 

Customers displaying disruptive and/or anti-social behaviour within the venue will be asked to leave.

For family shows and films (unless stated otherwise by the production company), children under the age of 18 months will be admitted free of charge if they do not require their own seat. A ‘Babe in Arms’ ticket will be issued for this purpose, please advise the Box Office when booking.

Pushchairs, prams or carry chairs are not permitted in the auditorium as they may block evacuation routes. Our staff will assist you in storing these items free of charge in our buggy park. Use of the buggy park is at your own risk.

Age restrictions apply for selected performances and films. Grove Theatre management reserves the right to refuse admission at any time.

Please arrive in good time as performances will commence promptly. Latecomers may not be permitted until a suitable break in the performance. Smoking and E-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere in the theatre. Disruptive or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances. You will receive a pre-show email 7 days prior to the performance date which will include up to date information on our Covid-19 safety measures

Changes to programme, show timings, cast, seating and pricing are at the discretion of the management.

Discounts and Concessions

  • Concessions: under 16’s, over 64’s, students in full time education, registered unemployed, people with a disability (and one companion if you are unable to attend the theatre without assistance) can claim discounts if these have been authorised by the production company – please see event information for details.
  • Groups of 10+ can claim discounts if these have been authorised by the production – please see event information for details.
  • School and College groups of 20+ can claim discounts where authorised by the production company, plus one free teacher ticket for every ten tickets booked. For some shows, different school rates are available – please see event information for details.
  • Wheelchair users (and one companion if you are unable to attend the theatre without assistance) can claim discounts where authorised by the production company. For some shows different wheelchair rates are available – please see event information for details.
  • Friends of the Grove Theatre are entitled to their discount according to the membership they have purchased. These discounts will have been authorised by the production company.  Terms and conditions of Friends Memberships apply and are subject to availability.
