A small booking fee of £1.50 per transaction will be added to all telephone bookings (except groups of ten or more) to cover administration charges.  All major credit and debit cards are accepted excluding American Express.

All tickets purchased will be kept behind the Box Office to be collected on the evening of the performance, or you can collect your tickets from our Box Office a few days prior. If you would like your tickets posted to you a charge of 50p will be added to your booking.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers can be purchased from Grove Theatre Box Office in £5 denominations from £5 upwards. Grove Theatre gift vouchers can only be redeemed at Grove Theatre.

National Theatre Tokens cannot be purchased from Grove Theatre, but can be redeemed at this venue.

Group Bookings

Ten or more tickets are eligible for group bookings. If you would like to book for a group of ten or more (for many productions discounts are available) contact our Box Office on 01582 60 20 80 (opt 7), Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm.

Reservations

Tickets can be reserved and will be held for a maximum of four days; if payment is not received tickets will be released for re-sale. If you reserve tickets within four days of the performance please be aware that tickets will be released for re-sale twenty-four hours before the performance starts. Extended reservation periods are available for groups of ten or more, contact the Box Office for details.

Conditions of Sale

Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged once purchased. Tickets for sell-out shows may be accepted by the Box Office for resale on behalf of the customer but re-sale cannot be guaranteed. An administration charge of £2.50 per ticket is applicable for this service.

Children under the age of 5 will not be admitted for any performance other than family shows. For family shows children under the age of 18 months will be admitted free of charge if they do not require their own seat. A babe-in-arms ticket will be issued for this purpose, please advise the Box Office when booking.

Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point in the performance.

The information on this website was correct at the time of creation. Changes to programme, cast, seating and pricing are at the discretion of the management.

Discounts and Concessions

  • All discounts are subject to availability, retrospective discounts cannot be given and only one discount can be claimed per ticket. Discounts are available on selected performances only and in price bands A and B only, unless stated otherwise. You may be asked for proof of your discount eligibility.
  • Concessions: under 16’s, over 60’s, students in full time education and registered unemployed can claim £2 off in price bands A and B. People with a disability (and one companion if you are unable to attend the theatre without assistance) can claim £2 off in price bands A and B (not applicable on Friday or Saturday evenings unless a one night event with the symbol). For some shows, different concession rates are available – please see event information for details.
  • Groups of 10+ can claim £3 off per ticket in price bands A and B and you will receive one free ticket for your group organiser (not applicable on Friday or Saturday evenings unless a one night event with the symbol). For some shows different group discounts are available – please see event information for details.
  • School and College groups of 20+ can claim £4 off per ticket in price bands A and B Monday to Thursday evenings and midweek matinees, plus one free teacher ticket for every ten tickets booked. For some shows, different school rates are available – please see event information for details.
  • Wheelchair users (and one companion if you are unable to attend the theatre without assistance) can claim £4 off each ticket on any performance. For some shows different wheelchair rates are available – please see event information for details.
  • Friends of the Grove Theatre are entitled to their discount according to the membership they have purchased. These discounts include up to £5 off opening night performances of weeklong shows and split week dramas in price bands A and B, up to £3 off subsequent nights of week long shows and split week dramas in price bands A and B, up to £3 off one night performances in price bands A and B and up to £5 off mid week matinees of week long productions in price bands A and B (not applicable on Friday or Saturday evenings unless a one night event with a symbol). Terms and conditions of Friends Memberships apply and are subject to availability. Friends discounts may vary according to individual productions – please see show pages for more information.
  • Family Tickets are available on selected performances.  Contact the Box Office for more information or refer to our season brochure.  This discount is applicable to two adults and two children (under the age of 16) only.
