Grove Dance
Dance is a highly expressive art form, through which children can find release, gain confidence and develop both physically and mentally. As well as being fun it can also be character building and a great way to socialise. We currently offer two styles of dance at the Grove Theatre.
All classes are suitable for people of all abilities and provide a comfortable, friendly environment in which to learn. No previous dance experience necessary.
GD Move
These Musical Theatre Dance classes involve learning the movements and styles that are recognisable in many musical theatre shows, including jazz, ballet, modern, contemporary and lyrical.
8 to 12 year olds – Mondays 4.30pm-5.30pm
GD Fusion
Upbeat Street Dance classes with an industry experienced and enthusiastic choreographer. These sessions combine teaching the different styles and movement techniques seen in the biggest dance craze of recent years to popular modern music.
6 to 9 year olds - Mondays 6.30pm-7.30pm
10 to 16 year olds – Mondays 7.30pm-9pm
Grove Dance classes are just £65 per ten week term (payable in advance).
Multiple class/Sibling discount:
- Pay full price for one class and attend another dance class or youth theatre for the term for only £50.
- For every child paying full fee a sibling can attend any dance class or the youth theatre for a term for only £50.
