Four innovative modern dance pieces combining theatricality and technical skill, performed by some of the UK's finest dancers.

After touring Europe and the West End with Matthew Bourne's sell-out male production of Swan Lake these two Dancer/Choreographers will collaborate for the first time, presenting Blowfield's 'Unfolding Layers' and 'Traces' and Marney's 'rain check' and 'semi-permanent', set to diverse music by some of the World's leading Classical and Contemporary composers.

Tim Blowfield is committed to choreographing Contemporary Dance of great artistic quality, working with dancers of high calibre. He aims to create dance pieces which will appeal to a wide audience, including those who have never seen Contemporary Dance before.

Tim performed with Matthew Bourne's company "New Adventures", in "Swan Lake" and "The Car-Man" in the West End, and on tour in the UK, Europe and South-East Asia. Tim has danced with Diversions Dance Company and has created and performed roles in new works choreographed/ directed by Ben Wright (Place Prize semi-finalist 2006 & 08), Adrian Noble, Lisa Torun, Jia-Yu Chang and Kerry Nicholls. Tim Blowfield is supported by Arts Council England and Essexdance.

Christopher Marney has been choreographing work commissioned by organisations such as London's The Place Theatre, Artelier and the Bridewell Theatre. Working in collaboration with dancers from the Royal Ballet, Rambert Dance Company, Ballet Gulbenkian and English National Ballet he creates theatre influenced by emotive choreography. Relaying drama through the body, his pieces have natural storytelling themes combined with a technical vocabulary of imaginative steps.

As a dancer Christopher has worked with Matthew Bourne, the Balletboyz and in Europe's Gothenburg Ballet and Ballet Biarritz and has danced in London at the Royal Opera House, Sadler's Wells Theatre & The Old Vic.
