PJ Proby: Farewell UK Tour

Wed 29 May, 7.30pm

PJ PROBY, a legendary 60’s Super Star Icon, first invited to the UK by The Beatles, went on from being an American Star to a Super Star in Europe. With hits such as “Somewhere”, “Maria”, “Together”, and of course the biggest hit that started everything off for him in the UK “Hold Me”.

In his early career PJ would lay down the vocals on Elvis Presley’s future releases to enable the Star to fulfil his movie contracts, then Elvis would put his own vocals down, for the finished article.

PJ has been a Star for 5 decades now, and at 80 years old is still going strong, however, it is time to put the guitar down, hang up the stage suits and enjoy his retirement.

PJ’S Special Guests on his Farewell Tour are 60’s Super Stars, Mike and Eddie from the Fortunes!

Fortunes first came to prominence and international acclaim in 1965, when “You’ve Got Your Troubles” broke into the US and UK Top 10s. Hits also include “Here It Comes Again”, “Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again” and “Freedom Come, Freedom Go”.

A great night of Nostalgia, Laughter, 60’s Hits, and more.

*A £2 transaction fee will be added per booking.
