Focusing on the years between 1961 and 1969, we follow Armstrong’s life and the sacrifices he had to make in the course of completing one of the most dangerous missions in history.

Based on the acclaimed book by James R. Hansen, ‘First Man’ is a riveting drama that reunites director Damien Chazelle and star Ryan Gosling after their multi-Oscar winning collaboration on ‘La La Land’.
