The Grove Theatre has a dedicated Education and Outreach Manager who is striving to ensure all sectors of the community can become involved with the theatre.  There will be a variety of education events throughout the year including a summer youth project involving a large number of young people.

Sponsor a Child

One of the first initiatives we will be launching is a weekly youth theatre with the first sessions start-ing in January 2007.  We hope our Youth Theatre will be attended by up to 100 young people and would like to ensure that lack of money isn't a reason preventing a young person attending.  We would therefore like to invite you to sponsor a child to attend for a year.  Just £130 would sponsor a child for a year and in addition to furthering the education of a participant we would also include your logo on our youth theatre correspondence.

Assisted Performances

There are opportunities to sponsor an assisted performance which gives deaf and hard of hearing or blind and partially sighted patrons the facility to enjoy a theatre performance alongside hearing or sighted patrons.  Our assisted performances are provided by STAGETEXT and Anne Hornsby of Minds Eye.
