Announcing Strictly Come Dancing favourite, AJ Pritchard as Peter Pan in our 2019 pantomime!
From Evolution Productions, the team that brought you Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this years’ pantomime promises to be our greatest yet!
AJ Pritchard began dancing at just 12 years old, and since then has achieved many great accolades, including winning the National Youth Championships for 3 consecutive years between 2012 and 2014 with dance partner Chloe Hewitt.
In 2013 AJ & Chloe were seen in the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent, gaining the highest achievement of their careers to date when they succeeded in impressing Simon Cowell with their dance routines! AJ and Chloe then went on to win the British Open Youth Latin Championshipsand the European Youth Latin Championships in 2015.
Rising to fame, AJ was approached to join the cast of smash hit BBC 1series Strictly Come Dancing back in 2016, where he made it to the semi-finals with his first celebrity dance partner, the Olympian Claudia Fragapne.
In 2017, AJ enjoyed continued success and popularity when he partnered with former The Saturday’s singer Mollie King, again making it to the semi-finals.
2018 was a stellar year for AJ, which saw him adding many more strings to his bow, such as presenting Blue Peter, hosting a show for BBC Radio 1, reaching the semi-finals of Celebrity MasterChef and winning Channel 4’s Celebrity Hunted for Stand Up To Cancer. AJ continued to maintain his popularity on Strictly Come Dancing by reaching the semi-finals with his partner Paralympian Lauren Steadman. He has recently completed his sell-out UK debut tour – Get on The Floor, and is ecstatic to be playing Peter Pan in this years pantomime!
AJ Pritchard says: “Peter Pan has been one of my dream roles since I was a child. I’m really looking forward to my first pantomime and I can’t wait to not only come to Dunstable, but more importantly to fly to Neverland!”
